A day at the Park

Sophia loves the park. We were so surprised at how much Sophia has grown! She is so fast and runs everywhere. She climbs the ladders and up the slides. The park we went to has a water fountain but she didn't want to go in she would rather play on the playground. It was nice taking my neice with us. I was able to sit on the bench and watch from the side lines! Good times!

4th of July

So again I am behind, oops. We had a good 4th of July. We were able to spend it with out families. We went to my sister's house during the day. There were a lot of kids for Sophia to play with as well as a mini jumper and water toys. After we went to Gramdma and Papa's house where we did some swimmimg and fireworks. It was a lot of fun. Sophia did not enjoy the loudness of the fireworks but still had a good time.

Swimming

We did swimming lessons again this year. I felt like a big whale but it was worth it! Sophia did a great job with her kicks and bubbles. She will be ready to be on her own next year. I am happy for that but also sad because she is getting so big! This last picture she is under water! So fun.

Ducks!

A few months back we had some new pets. I was really excited that we didn't have to go to the park to feed the ducks we could just open our slider and there they were. However, these ducks have no shame. They would peck at the door wanting there bread or tortilla. It got a little out of control. They were not scared of us at all. They would even try the front door if we didn't come to the back door. And did I mention how messy they are! Thankfully they are gone because I am over there poop!!

A Hot Day in May

I can not believe how big Sophia is getting!! Just look at her in the swing. I mean come on!! My baby is 2 1/2 and is so smart and so much fun. She talks non stop and loves to be outside. I really wish we had a backyard for her but she does okay with what we have! She certainly doesn't complain. Sher has a swing and a sandbox and at anytime our porch can become a water park!!

So as you know I am really behind! I don't know why I have such a hard time remembering to update my blog. But I have some time now so here we go. These pictures are back from March. We got the color bubbles in purple. Sophia really enjoyed them. They were a little messy but did wash off everything with no problems.

Easter Weekend: Sunday

On Sunday we went to Grandma and Papa's house. For some Easter fun. Unfortunately we missed church since I worked the night before. But we certainly did not forget what Easter is all about. He has Risen!! We thank Jesus everyday for all our blessings. Sophia got a fun basket full of Paul Frank gardening tools and of course candy. We had a fun egg hunt and spent an afternoon swimming. It was a nice relaxing day!
